I recently upgraded to retropie 4.1 and I am having some issues mapping my xbox 360 wireless controller. It worked fine on 4.02. Once retropie is started, I go to the config for the controller mapping. It detects the controller. I can go through all the buttons but the ones for the triggers mess up. It might take the button for left trigger then skips the right trigger. I have tried different controllers and get the same results. Does anyone have any ideas to try?

@bassman6805 I think the problem is that the system detects two strokes on L2. The workaround I can suggest is manually edit the input_r2_btn on your /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/YOUR_CONTROLLER_NAME.cfg.

More info about controller configs here: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration

        Cheers!

@bassman6805 Install the xpad driver from RetroPie-Setup -> Manage Packages -> Drivers and it will make the triggers act as buttons and you will be able to configure easily in ES.
