c64 roms not playing well in Vice
-
Hello to you all,
My name is Daniel and am living in the Netherlands first of all ;)
I bought a raspberry pi 3 to use with retropie for old school gaming.
But i can't get sound from vice with c64 games, sometimes just a few seconds but i finally get the warning that an error occurd in vice (sound problem).
I tried to go the manually stereo setting in the vice menu but still no succes. Also another problem is to fix the controller setting (PS4 controller), i can't get this properly working ...
The rest of mij games from PSX and Atari 2600 work fine both with sound and controls.
Can somebody help me with this problem ?

Pi Model: model 3 B
RetroPie Version Used: 4.1
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected:
Controller used: playstation4
Error messages received:none
Guide used: github commodore 64 vice
Emulator: ViceOk, hope the information above is what you are looking for.
So far i fixed the sound problem ;)
I deleted the Vice file and installed it again within retropie file manager.
Also i enabled the option to push sound through HDMI within the retropie options. But now i have found a new challenge ;)
I can't get a nice full screen with C64 games and Vice ...
The starting screen is good, no black bars above or under (just on the sides but that's because of the right aspect ratio).
Hitting double size in the Vice menu seems to do nothing, i also tried to change the config. file in C64 to set VicIIdoublesize=1 but nothing happens ...
The screen stays the same if double size is enabled or not.
I want to have the screen in the right aspect ratio but without black bars above and under the screen.Hope i posted it right this time and somebody can help ?

I believe this is just a limitation of how the emulator works in regard to changing resolutions on-the-fly.
