      Hi guys -
      I've been trying to track down the cause of this for ages, and tried all of the different emulator options, and screen res settings that I can find - all NeoGeo games work fine (AFAIK) but anything else seems to fail.
      I've got a neogeo bios that includes all the declared options, but launching almost all games gives me this output:

      RetroArch [INFO] :: Environ GET_LOG_INTERFACE.
      RetroArch [INFO] :: Content loading skipped. Implementation will load it on its own.
      RetroArch [libretro INFO] :: Setting save dir to /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade/
      RetroArch [INFO] :: Environ SYSTEM_DIRECTORY: "/home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS".
      RetroArch [libretro INFO] :: Setting system dir to /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS
      RetroArch [libretro ERROR] :: [FBA] Cannot find driver.
      RetroArch [ERROR] :: Failed to load content.
      RetroArch [INFO] :: Resetting undo buffers.
      RetroArch [INFO] :: Monitor FPS estimation is disabled for threaded video.

      Is there any additional debug that I can turn on? The same roms play fine on FBA binaries on windows which suggests that the ROM itself is intact.
      Many thanks

          Well, it's a B+ running on the latest build, and updated this morning.
          Not sure how I can get you the specific release number over ssh, but was built from an SD card image

          Full log here - but as per the question, is there any other debug I can turn on to find out what is meant by [FBA] cannot find driver.

          @BuZz - I don't think the request was unclear, and the other data provided is entirely moot.

            The version is displayed when running the RetroPie-Setup script.

            The request was unclear - you provided nothing to go on apart from a tiny log snippet that didn't even include the rom name or emulator.

            If you want help, it would do best to just provide as much of the information we request as you can. If you know what is relevant and what isn't then I assume you can also debug the problem on your own.

            The issue is most likely you have the wrong romset - https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

              @scottharman I would be willing to bet the developer of pretty much all of RetroPie knows what information is relevant and what information is not- would be wise to provide the required information if you want a solution.

              To give an idea: fba was recently updated Which now requires a different romset so depending on which image you used, if you updated etc. Both affect it. Also the kind of pi: default emulator for diff pi's are different which can also affect solutions, and it's a waste of our time to try and read minds.

              And in the case of arcade systems 99% of the time it is the incorrect romset. Get the proper romset and it will be fixed.

                It's 4.1.5 currently, but I did rebuild based on the most recent dat files on the website. Some run successfully on lr-mame2003 which won't boot any neogeo, and using Lr-fba all neogeo work but nothing else
                Would be helpful if there was an option to apend to the log rather than overwrite as it makes gathering exhaustive logging time consuming

                    Hi @BuZz

                    Rebuild from 0.2.97.38 Non-Merged, and also independently rebuilt from 0.149 fullset

                    When I run up the Windows GUI version of FBAlpha, all those games load fine which is based on 0.2.97.39 binaries, so compatibility is unlikely to be the issue.
                    So I'm still unclear on which driver it's trying to load - can we increase the verbosity of the logging, or is there any other debug we can enable.

                      You are trying to load a rom (batmanfr) from MAME which is not supported by FBA, so it can't find the driver since it does not exist.
