      @XD3l That doesn't help me much. What issues ? Do you have a log ?

      It build fine the last time I tried (when I built the binary archives). I will test it when I have a moment and look into the crash.

        @XD3l said in ZDOOM Crash:

        @BuZz

        *** Fatal Error ***

        Stupid question, but if it is failing on MIDI playback, I wonder if it would work if you used the MP3 sound files in place of the MIDI ones.

          @enderandrew I don't think that is the cause of the crash, but I am debugging it currently.

            Are you asking if I am trying to compile from source via Retropie-Extras or by hand?

              @XD3l From RetroPie-Setup via the gui, but it won't help as I have tried that. Working on it now (I have it working, it's related to compile options I believe or something related to the way it's built/installed via retropie-setup since it works from a manual compile).

                After a lot of time spent, I have git bisected it and have some data to submit to the author. Will do that in the next day or two.

                    Just had a thought, and I have it working now. Will submit a fix in a moment. It's only a problem when building for armv7+ target.

                    Same issue that plagued PPSSPP on Raspbian due the armv6 userland and GCC atomic operations. I think it's been fixed after gcc 4.9.

                    I should have thought of this sooner - I spent long enough debugging PPSSPP and I've just spent a similar time on zdoom! oops.

                      Please update zdoom from binary (or update retropie-setup and build from source) and it should work :)

                          @BuZz works now. Thank you. Is there somewhere my music files should go for zdoom?

                            So i noticed that you have abunny cursor in the menus and the real cursor is always stuck in the top left corner through all of the games in zdoom. Any way to fix this?

                              @edmaul69 No idea sorry - I would check the zdoom wiki. You don't need external music files though - doom sounds pretty good through timidity (there are other midi backend available).

                                @edmaul69 It would be better to have a new topic for new questions so it's easier for people to find later - there are some mouse options here - https://zdoom.org/wiki/Mouse_options - but its possible zdoom may also need a patch to disable. I don't have time to look into it now though.
