      Hi,

I have an x64 ubuntu Installation on a small Computer (Ockel Sirius B Black Cherry). everything works fine until the Setup Basic install starting to compile... more o less at 20% of compiling the retropie, the whole Computer hangs completly without any Chance to reset without pressing power button.. mouse and Keyboard hang as well...

      any idea maybe?

@dawed sounds like a hardware issue. Checks temps etc (sensors).

thanks for advice with temperature... seems there is a Problem inside the bios Firmware... changed some thermal Settings temporarly and now Installation run perfectly... i will Keep an eye on it and ask the manufacture for an update... because CPU and other System ressources are on a low-level usage

because i don't think it is getting hot by compiling everything... this Hardware is build for Windows 10 ;)

i've googled a bit more what exactly was the Problem...
so it is the Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework inside the Bios who made this Problem to me... it isn't a big Problem to disable it at all... even when it is not exactly a mobile Computer like mi Ockel Sirius B
