Cannonball is definitely installed on my retropie, however when I scrape the system it disappears entirely from the ports list.

Any ideas on how to make it return? I've uninsulated and reinstalled however to no avail.

      Thanks

      Ian

It isn't there under a different name is it?

For some reason my Cannonball has been called 'Space Engine' for ages now, and I have no idea why!

          It still runs fine.

@GtBFilms go into the ports gamelist.xml and rename it.

@edmaul69 it's ended up being called The Chaos Engine after the scrape... now how do I rename it on .xml???

@IanStone when you are on the game press select and go into the gamelist info or whatever it is called and edit the games metadata or you can go into /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/ports/gamelist.xml and look for that name and change it.

@edmaul69 Thanks, I did that last night - I've changed metadata on MAME games before so I don't know why it never occurred to me to just do it for Cannonball as well! Thanks for the suggestion!

@ianstone On my Picade cabinet I just press the coin button when on the Ports menu, with the incorrectly named game selected, and then select 'Edit Metadata' - you'll need a keyboard plugged in but you can then change the game name to whatever you like. On the edit metadata menu you can also rescrape that specific game and choose from the various options (none of which are correct for CannonBall - I'm sure it used to scrape okay though?)

@GtBFilms this is the reason i decided to not scrape anything. I scraped the nes and every single game that was the first in a series got named as the second so i had it listed them like this:

                      Lolo 2
                      Lolo2
                      Lolo 3

                      Super mario bros 2
                      Super mario bros 2
                      Super mario bros 3

Plus there were other games scraped as the wrong game.
