Pi Zero going to waste.
-
I bought a Pi Zero to use as a Pi-hole and block ads on our home network. Unfortunately BT in the UK are twats and do not allow you to use a DNS server that is not their own, not even Google's. Anyone have any ideas on how to bypass this, whilst still using the BT router? Or failing that, what else to do with the Zero?

@columboscoat Make a handheld console 😁

@columboscoat those archaic UK laws... US isn't far behind I'm afraid. I agree though a handheld is always a good idea. I have mine running with the camera module for a timelapse thing

@markyh444 Cheers Mark! I knew that would be the first suggestion! I was thinking of something different, maybe. I appreciate your reply though. Ta.

@herb_fargus it sickens me but to use your own hardware would annoy my family so much it's not worth it... do you know anything about transferring data between PS4's... ? Been trying all day, keeps stalling at the same point. 116G into a 360G transfer to a 1TB slim. Sony are dicks. I rebuilt the database on the old one. Still no joy.

@mediamogul Seems like a cool thing but more of a gimmick than a practical application.

Just don't let her hear you say that. She'll have all our nuclear launch codes in a few years time. ;)
