Super Smash Bros. (N64) on x86
-
Overall, Nintendo 64 emulations works very well on this little x86 system I put together, but I have a problem that seems to be specific to Super Smash Bros. After about 10-30 seconds of gameplay, the screen freezes. You can still hear the music and sound effects, so the game is still being played in the background, but the screen never unfreezes from the initial frame it froze on.
I'm running all the default emulators and settings (again, on an Intel system, not a Pi), so what am I missing? This doesn't happen on my Raspberry Pi 2.

@obsidianreq Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

I did read it, so what exactly is the issue? I specified the system, emulator, settings, and hardware I was using. I searched the forums and wiki before posting that.

@obsidianreq But @BuZz is asking you to read that post and provide the information asked within it. It specifically asks for certain info in a set format.

@obsidianreq You didn't specify the emulator or version of retropie. There are two n64 emulators, and multiple video plugins for mupen64plus). Which one ? (check runcommand menu).
You didn't mention the hardware. You just said "x86 system". Which is quite generic. 32 or 64 bit ? which os ?
