New Retro Pi kit, lost on how to get ROMS

Hiya, my son got a Retro Pi Kit for Christmas. It came with 2 controllers,everything to get it going and said it had Retro Pi already installed on the provided 32 sd card.
I'm not computer savvy and have watched a few videos ,but still lost. I'm guessing at this point it only has the program to run the games,not the games/ROMS themselves.
So my question is: Do I continue the way I've seen the videos to get them with winzip 7 and download the games to the provided sd card? Where to I get the games?

We cannot provide supports for 3rd Party images as we have no idea what they are and also Retropie is free software so you have been scammed by paying money. The seller is acting in breach of the terms and conditions of the licence.
