These are being sold locally for £99.99, it is simply a rasberry pi with RetroPie + lots of pirated roms + cheap USB controllers from eBay.

They do not give credit to RetroPie anywhere in their sales pitch/website in order to prevent customers discovering that the system is actually free to download. Just to inform the devs of this scummy 'product'.

These scumbags are all over the internet.
        Have a look at eBay.

It's unfortunate that nothing can be done. I thought the amazon fire stick + kodi fiasco was bad but this is to a new level. If the developers were even getting a cut of the sales I wouldn't have an issue. The name RetroBack instead of RetroPi to hide that it is a Rasberry Pi powering the device from those that do not know is like giving the two fingers to developers while waving their undeserved profits.

@KeepItFree it's not even about getting a cut. It's a matter of principle. The licences forbid any commercial use- so even we cannot and will not sell retropie.

There will always be another greedy dirtbag. Best we can do is just educate the ignorant public that they are paying for a free product
