@ecolyx that's definitely Emulationstation. I can't tell more than that from the 25 second video.

          Also definitely a pi.

Sad. Public doesnt know any better. Just slap the pi in a case, image a sd card and profit.

If you look real closely on the part where they are showcasing the menu, you can see the Eudora controller logos and the RetroPie menu logo. So yeah, it is RetroPie with the Eudora theme.

            Don't sweat it.

Also you can see in the part when they are showcasing the system, that it is just a Pi with this case on it.

              Don't sweat it.

@RetroPieNerd Yeah, I think I was looking on my phone. I was looking for the RetroPie logo for the settings, but I didn't see it. I'm also not really familiar with the Eudora theme, but I figured if a theme works on RetroPie, it probably works on any other EmulationStation install, so I couldn't nail it down to just RetroPie.

I paused on the frame in the video and screenshotted it (the frame appeared at about 8 seconds into the video) as well as a screenshot, using the Eudora theme, from my own Pi. Here is a comparison:

As you can see, the pictures are pretty much identical, therefore the Micro Cade is using RetroPie with the Eudora theme.

@RetroPieNerd Nice detective work! I'm pretty sure that was right when the video cut to something else.

I don't know if the used theme has a CC license on it and I don't know about the whole RetroPie and RPi copyrights but one thing is sure if they sell this with 15000+ roms on it then that is definitely an issue that should be reported to one or some of the bigger game companies. I am sure they would love to take a closer look.

Even if the RetroPie creators or theme creator would mail them and tell them about the copyright infringement they'll probably ignore it. It would take too much time and $$$ to get something started.

The theme used does have a CC license on it.
