      Hey all,

Has anyone ever seen a method of getting EmulationStation to rotate to portrait mode WITHOUT using the display_rotate=x function in the config.txt file?

The reason I ask, is because I'm testing out a version of vertipie at the moment - this is an image that displays Attract Mode as well as all of the MAME games in portrait mode by default.

The only time that anything is in landscape mode is when I exit to EmulationStation.

I Know that if change the display_rotate line in the config file, that EVERYTHING will rotate. So, ES would be portrait, but all of the other stuff set to portrait mode would be rotated as well ( I'm assuming ).

      Thanks in advance,

      Matt!

@KillerQ it would need implementing in the ES code. No way to do it in ES currently.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks so much.
