Pin6 obstructed or something after boot using nodejs, wheezie worked, jessie not.

With the new jessie image, I MUST attach a screen.
I try to run some ws2811-LEDs after boot with a nodejs server.I use nodejs v0.12, the ws2811-native library for node/js and a RasPi 2. The output will be generated on physical pin6 [5v X GND X X OUT]
The server runs in its own "screen" (apt-get install screen)
With the old debian-wheezy retropie, it worked properly: It loaded the nodejs server which controls the LEDs. Then it went into emulationstation.
With jessie, all works fine except that the LEDs stop working after boot, but only when NO screen is attached per HDMI. The server itself runs properly, after the LEDs stopped. I prooved it per ssh. It is not my fault.
Can anyone help me with this please?
Could it be because of the splash screen? Thats the only "other" thing compared to the wheezy version. Except for all the background stuff. ;) It stops about in the time when the splash screen disappears but I cannot proove that because it works when there is a screen attached....
Maybe it's a bug somewhere? Thanks in advance for your help.
