I'm fairly new to retropie and I'm having an odd issue. I've been playing PSX fine, but I added some new roms and they are not showing up. I actually added n64 rims at the same time and those loaded up fine. Anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

      Thanks in advance!

@harriszilla How did you add the ROMs? What type of files were the PSX ones, what was the file extension at the end?

@AlexMurphy I added them by a USB drive. I added both the .bin and .cue for the games.

@harriszilla did you give them enough time to transfer? Some PSX games are quite big files and can take time to transfer even via USB. Edit: big, relative to a NES rom for example.

@AlexMurphy I thought I had, but I should try again. I would have thought at least one new one would've showed up. Do you know how long it usually takes to transfer? Also, this could be a dumb question, does it load the new games in the background if I'm playing something else? Thanks for the help :)

@harriszilla Depends on the size of the file! I transfer mine over the network so would be slower but some bigger PSX games would take maybe 10-15 minutes for a single ROM. Yeah, the service will continue in the background but it will slow it down as you are using resources. It's a 35 dollar computer afterall. Multitasking is not the Pi's biggest strength.

@AlexMurphy ok! Good to know! And definitely a good point about the multitasking. I'll give it some time to load the games and I'll let you know. Thanks again!

@harriszilla No worries. Have a bit more patience this time. Or transfer over the network and you can see the transfer progress. Might take longer but at least you can be confident of what is happening.

@AlexMurphy Trying this morning. So far not much luck, but I'm going to keep having patience :) I did find another problem which may or may not be connected to my other issue. So as I was waiting for the games to load I figured I would scrape some games. As I tried to input the correct image retropie kicked out to the command prompt and gave me an error stating could not find enough space. I am using a 32gb card so I know I have enough space but I went back in to configure menu to expand my card...since I'm using nooks it's already partitioned to get the most out of my card...could this be related?

Also, how do I load from network? Sorry I'm new :-/

@AlexMurphy Ok. I think I figured out why. I tried transferring through the network and I'm getting an "exceeding a user disk quota" message. So I'm guessing my card is full, but I know there's no way I can be close to being maxed out. It will not let me expand the memory through retro pie due to running noobs. Is there another way to expand the size without having to reformat and lose everything?
