      As the title states,

I can play all emulators (except mame) using my xin-mo dual arcade joysticks without any issue. however the issue arrises when i try playing mame-2003 roms. The right joystick works fine as do all buttons, but the left joystick only left, down, and right work. The up button on the left joystick does nothing.

it even works in emulationstation and all other emulators.

scratching my head at this one. So any help will be much apprechiated.

      Thanks in advance.

Apologies for wasting anyones time. but i have since fixed this issue.

For anyone who may be experiencing a similar issue. All i needed to do was delete the /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/retroarch.cfg data so that it reverted back to normal and followed the retroarch mapping.

Lesson learned, don't invite people round to play your new bartop arcade machine and get drunk, as they may start messing with config files.

        Sorry for wasting anyones time.

@RoswellWitness I believe what lordward1234 did was navigate to the folder /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/ and just delete the file retroarch.cfg. I would ssh into the pi, navigate to the file location and delete it.
