Raspberry Pi Zero W?

As we know, every year around February to celebrate the raspberry pi's birthday, the raspberry pi foundation releases a new or updated board.
Due to the pi 3 being capped at 1GB if RAM and the extensive amount of work it will take to develop a new videocore V that can handle more RAM whilst being backward compatible with other pi software... It's very unlikely we'll be getting a pi 4 this year (as Eben Upton implied in an interview last year)
BUT! Tis rumoured a Raspberry Pi Zero W will be released: a raspberry pi Zero with onboard wifi.
Note this is currently just a rumour but no doubt it will be validated shortly if true.
What do you think the raspberry pi foundation has in store for us this year?

It is allready here and I think it could be gorgeous to have a GearBest generic USB SNES gamepad with a pi zero W inside for retro gaming and retro online multiplayer

Am I assuming correct that besides the WiFi and Bluetooth the specs stayed the same as the previous Pi Zero 1.3 ?
The WiFi and Bluetooth are a very much needed addition and will make setup lot more easy and comfortable.

Has anyone actually got their hands on a Zero W & tried Retropie on it?

@DigitalMonkey It doesn't specify that they actually did try the pi1/zero image there, so not convinced. Should be getting mine soon, wish I'd gone for next day delivery now! But I'll try as soon as.

@Fruitybit The current builds (either specifically for the old Zero or for the 3) don't work on the new Zero W. Mine arrived yesterday and I've tried both builds.
