    Player 1 controls not work properly on certain games

      Hi,
      I have a xin-mo hooked up on a raspberry pi 3 model b.
      Both player 1 and player 2 controls work fine in mame.
      Also when tested with jstest command everything is ok.
      The thing that drives me crazy is that when I run any metal slug game in neo-geo, when I press player 1 fire button it fires upwards.
      Also 'up' on the joystick of player 1 doesn't work. Note that player 2 works exactly as expected

      Anyone has any ideas?
