      Hey guys.

OK, so I've been working through this setup and stop far everything has been great and working as expected... But for some reason, today my wireless xbox 360 controllers started acting wierd. I have 2 connected, and both work fine in es. If i only have one turned on, any system I try to use, neither work at all. I discovered that as long as both joysticks were active, number 2 works just fine in the games as number 1 and then number 1 seems to work as number 2.

I tried going back into the retrofit configuration and reconfigure the joysticks, when I went to configure the joysticks, I noticed that the system is detecting 3 controllers...

      How do I fix this?

      Please help

@taekwonjudo did you set your controllers in joystick selection? is this all emulators or just retroarch emulators?

@edmaul69 This was set in the main config through retropie config.

Happens with all emulators. The weird thing... today p1 worked like it should... but still 3 controllers detected... I'm baffled at this one :/

@taekwonjudo if you use the xbox 360 wireless adapter then its actually going to detect 4 controllers. That is perfectly normal and isnt the problem. Go into the retropie menu and go to runcommand. In there you should be able to activate joystick selection. After that reset emulationstation. Now in the retropie menu you should see joystick selection. Go in there and set controller 1 as the first controller and player 2 as the second controller.
