      After the update raspbian starts with retropie screensplash, show my lxde for a moment but return to console #1 and I need to press CTRL, ALT, F7 to return to X.
      How can I start again with my X? I'll press CTRL, ALT, F1 when I want to run emulationstation.

        Your post doesn't make sense. Are you running retropie or recalbox?

          @herb_fargus retropie installed on Raspbian.
          Raspbian boots, I see retropie screen, starts LXDE but changes to Linux virtual console 1

            Hi, I had the same issue. Disable the splashscreen on RetroPie-Setup Script:
            Configuration / tools -> splashscreen -> Disable splashscreen on boot

            That works for me.
