EmulationStation without GameList but with Media

I'd like to avoid having to use a gamelist.xml to add or remove games but still show images, videos, etc that match the rom name. Is there anyway to pull this off currently? Wondered if that wouldn't load faster too as you could avoid it having to parse your gamelists. I realize that would cause you not to be able to display text info but I wouldn't miss that if it meant I could just drop my roms or remove them out and make sure the media had identical names and I'd be good to go.

@Hubz and how exactly would you tell emulationstation which games and images you want displayed without a gamelist.xml?

@herb_fargus I assume he means having it automatically load the image or video from a folder so long as it's named the same as the rom. Doesn't Attract Mode work that way?

@SuperMagicom Yep bingo, haven't tried Attract Mode due to liking the look of Emulation Station. If all else fails I might just have to auto generate gamelist.xml's on launch with a script of some sort perhaps as my only solution.

@Hubz yeah there isn't any support for that as far as I know with ES.
