Im using a PS3 pad on RetroPie and have the 'Menu Toggle Gamepad combo' option set to 'Start + Select' but upon pressing this instead of going to the RetroArch menu screen it just quits the game and goes back to emulation station. Any ideas why this happens?

@BlockABoots because that's also the exit game combo :) why did you change it from start+X? most combos already do something.

i wasnt aware that start+select was the default combo for exit, ill change it to something else then.

Also is there an easy way to get retroarch back to its default settings for retropie?

I'm used to use the retroarch.cfg.rp-dist files (they are in /opt/retropie/configs/all/ and /opt/retropie/configs/SYSTEM_NAME/ directories). If you're not comfortable with Linux commands, the suggested method is uninstall and reinstall RetroArch using the RetroPie-Setup.

            Thanks.

One last thing, i have noticed for the Windows version of RetroArch when you press the menu button (F1) you are taken to the 'Quick Menu' screen but with RetroPie your taking to the main menu screen, is there a way to configure RetroPie version of RetroArch to go straight to the 'Quick Menu' screen when press the setting menu button?
