Updated to 4.2, updated all packages. I had to put my old core of FBalpha in so my rom set would work. all my binds gone including some in attract mode. Tried to bind some buttons in mame2010 and it wouldnt register one button that previously worked. back to an old image for me. is it enough to just update the scripts? or kernal has to be done

I am having the same issues re: FBalpha. I'm going to have to go back and see if I reinstall FBalpha it works. I had that happen with mame2014 a few times.

No issues here updating to 4.2. Then again, I didn't mess with manually replacing older cores:P

@Patzfan you have the wrong romset.

@herb_fargus I know, but it also messed up my arcade cabinet binds, and gave me problems binding control in mame (wouldn't take binds). How do I just update retropie and not emulators and do I have to update kernal?
