    model: pi3 model B
Controller: sega mega drive USB/snes USB
    Retropie:42

    Hi guys

I did a search but couldn't find anything. Also searched YouTube. But anyway:

Any controller I seem to try, usb mega driver, usb snes, any, let me input the d-pad and button A.

Everything else I try says not yet defined despite pressing my desired button.

Is this common as I reinstalled retropie and still get this same issue.

    Thanks.

no it's not common. do the controllers work as expected elsewhere? have you tried different usb ports on your Pi? it might be bad usb port on your Pi... which power supply are you using?

Thank you for the reply. I'm using the Pi supply.

The controller works on the pc for my emulators great. So not sure what the issue is here.

I have ordered a snes one from PiHut now. See how that goes.

Once again thanks for the reply.
