I'm running advancemame. I have all my roms working using v3.3. When adding background and bezel artwork in the form of .zip files to /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-advmame/artwork the images load with roms, which is great ... BUT

EmulationStation displays the zips as games. ES displays them in two places below. Have others seen this and how did you get ES to not display them?

    1. on main screen, under an Icon called "Arcade". No files exist under roms/arcade/ btw.

    2. under MAME icon where all my advancemame roms are listed. Shows up as a top level folder that can be navigated into and shows each zip as if it were a game.

I'm running RetroPie 4.2 and the latest optional advmame package updated late March 2017, based on the latest update of the retropie_setup.sh script.
    ES is 2.1.4RP.

@zmanz you could try to outsource the artwork-folder by editing the AdvanceMame config-file. I did this to get rid of the Samples-Folder in ES and it worked like a charm.

Yes, I suppose that I could workaround by changing the advmame.rc config file to point artwork to another location like /opt/retropie/configs/mame-advmame/artwork. But it would be better if RetroPie changed the default location in the .rc files to begin with or fixed the code in EmulationStation to not display non-game folders that exist in the default location of the roms folder.

@buzz @floob you both seem very involved with advmame in retropie. Have you seen this issue? Is this a bug that should be opened in some git repo?
