        @dre3ed the default.

        the neon enhancement can easily cause minor slowdowns regardless of overclock. without a video of what you get it might just be normal.

              BUT, to all those who have had the same problém as me, I am pretty sure I worked out the problem now. It's the resolution.

              I am now running with neon enhancements but I changed the default resolution to 640x480 at 60hz no more slow downs no more freezing no more crashing. I will keep trying other resolutions until i find the max.

              So there we go.

                  Also, now i have my settings working and no freezing thanks to the new resolution,
                  If I take the # off #disable_overscan=1 then its back to freezing and crashing,
                  It would have been nice to be able to have the Retropie menu full screen and also in the game it looks much better,

                      @dre3ed with the modern TV, I used the tv remote and did fit to picture and it made the screen considerably bigger.

                        @Twitch0815 Is this setting the same as enabling "Enhanced Resolution (Slow)" in the Retroarch GUI? (And similarly, is the "no_main" option the same thing as "Enhanced Resolution Speed Hack")?
