Changes owner back to root?

Why does retropie change folder permissions and ownership back to root sometimes? I change them and then next time I come back they are changed back to root or 755?

Sorry Meleu, I just updated last week so it is version 4.2.? Figured this was more a linux issue than retropie itself?
