No shaders working on any systems
-
Hi - Bear with me.
I'm selecting the crt-pi.glslp shader from /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/shader folder..
here it is..shaders = "1"
shader0 = "shaders/crt-pi.glsl"
filter_linear0 = "true"
wrap_mode0 = "clamp_to_border"
mipmap_input0 = "false"
alias0 = ""
float_framebuffer0 = "false"
srgb_framebuffer0 = "false"And i'm setting the Video Shader Enable to true in the RetroPie Setup menu. Plus I'm making it fro all Libretro Emulators and only using them for game play.
I've got a crt-pi.glslp in /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/shader/shaders folder with the // removed before the #CURVATURE text.
No sign of it working and I've can't find anything else to try.
Any support would be gratefully received.

you don't need to do this - there's a crt-pi-curvature.glslp that has this set for you. can you try with that one? maybe editing the file has caused some problem.

@dankcushions Thanks very much for the reply. I had planned to do that after that I did an RetroPie Setup update but the update caused some sort of failure and I need to start over. No problem. I'll use Floobs Ver 5.0 image and take it from there. I'll try now and let you know. Thanks again for the help.

@andrewcoughlan No luck. I'm running RetroPie Setup Ver 4.0.1 . I'm setting options for All Libretro emulators - everything is unset except for Video Shader Enable..true and the Video Shader File is /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/shader/crt-pi-curvature.glslp
The glsl file in /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/shader/shaders has the line #define CURVATURE ....no // before it.
I am running on a VGA monitor however but I've not made any changes to config.txt .
Any emulator I try has the form lr - NAME
But no luck yet.
I did an update on the image to enable Displays Menu's in Attract Mode.
Any further ideas to try?

@andrewcoughlan Ok - I just tried the 4.2 basic image and it's worked fine. There's something I've done with my images that's throwing it out but I'm just going to rebuild my image and test along the way. Thanks DankCushions for your help!
BTW.....can I set this for the MAME (Mame4all) emulator...? I didn't see it listed in the RetroPie Setup options.
