@Spottedfeather Also, a regular NES classic doesn't run any MAME romsets as it's just a NES emulator. Either it's a hacked one you've bought, or something else entirely. Or, I've trip-trapped over your bridge and I'm being trolled like a good-un.

@markyh444 @rbaker You're a bit out of touch. The NES classic can run RetroArch. :)
@Spottedfeather If you use the 2 player versions of Simpsons and TMNT you can select your character.

Regardless, this isn't the RetroArch support forum.

@windale not out of touch mate, but this isn't the NES classic hacking forum. And I did ask if it was a hacked NES classic.

Also as @caver01 says, this isn't a Retroarch forum either. How am I meant to know an overpriced Nintendo I've not seen in person can run Retroarch?

@markyh444 Clearly you had no idea what he was talking about from the replies you made (hence out of touch) and it doesn't hurt to give him an answer.

@windale I agree, I did have no idea what he was on about and I asked him.

                Still not a RetroPie issue.

I've been here for over a year now and I'm still waiting on someone to tell me where I can purchase a hubcap for a '72 Pinto hatchback. If I have to talk about this RetroPie thing much longer, I'm gonna have to start trying my luck over at the Frito-Lay forums.

                          It's likely related to this:

@Spottedfeather also it appears the coin button doesnt work in lr-mame2003. It works in lr-mame2010 and lr-mame4all. Mame4all is an older romset. however, the .78 romset version works in lr-mame4all. There are a few mame2003 games with this issue. Tapper is another one where the coin doesnt work in mame2003.

It's really the list of games involved here that had me switch over to advmame. It has it's own issues as well and @dankcushions has done an absolute miraculous job squeezing blood from a stone in lr-mame2003, but I'm finding the most recent versions of advmame to be a nice fit for me personally.

@mediamogul its the one romset i dont have because i cant find the correct romset. I can find a romset that is older and newer. Just not that romset. And the closest ones arent that close.

@edmaul69 I'd try mame2010, but I can't find it anywhere. Do you know where I could get it ? I'd be looking for the hmod for retroarch.

@Spottedfeather i dont know how to find them. But i would look for one for lr-mam4all over lr-mame2010. Mame 2010 doesnt put the vertical games in the correct resolution. It has them stretched to full screen making it super fat. You would have to make edits to the resolution for any vertical games you use with lr-mame2010.
