      downloaded the latest build and just crashes when launched
      am i missing something?

        Hi @don1215, if you can give us a little more information it will help us to work out what may be causing your issue.

        • Which version of Windows ES is it?
        • Where did you get it?
        • What happens when it crashes?
        • Does it give any kind of error message?

        If you are using the ES that comes bundled with the ES Toolkit, then you need to use one of the Launch .bat files to start it. I don't think it will work if you use the .exe.

        My ES themes: MetaPixel | Spare | Io | Indent

          Also isn't there an issue with spaces in the directory names? Like for example "C:\Emulation Station\" will not work because of the space but "C:\EmulationStation\" should work.

            @backstander I haven't tested the specifics, but I think it could be spaces, but it could also be brackets like "(" and ")" that cause it to break.
