RetroPie3 - N64 performance issues - PLEASE HELP!!!
-
Hey everyone I recently set up a retropie3 and i love it but unfortunately I am unable to play N64 games due to crappy sound and the game lagging.
I am not too technically savvy so does anyone have an easy to follow, step by step guide on how to fix this issue so i can play N64 games perfectly?

N64 emulation currently sucks on pretty much all platforms, especially on the Pi. You will have to setup each game separately in the launch command with different emulators and settings to get each one working right, even then 80% of them will still run like crap.

@Capeman Thank you - do you know the specific settings for Goldeneye?

I used to run N64 on my pi when i first got one, i messed with every game i could, but i could only get about 6 games working to the point where i considered them playable and they were all early games such as wave race, mario 64, mario kart, etc. Golden eye in my experience runs way too slow on any setting.
I gave up and just deleted all of it off my Pi and got an Everdrive64 flash cart for my actual console, haha.
