2 player input acting strangely
-
PI model: 3
Power supply used: USB cord attached to an outlet (I'm sorry I'm not quite sure if I've answered this question correctly)
Retropie version used: 4.2
Built from: pre-made sd image on retropie website
USB devices connected: Sometimes a keyboard if needed, but at the moment none.
Controller used: 8bitdo NES30 ProHi, so I'm extremely new to retropie. So far I've gotten everything set up and running smoothly, except for the two player. For some reason when I launch a two player game, one of the controllers will have the wrong button mapping, and some of the buttons just won't work.
So far as I can tell, for some reason the a button changes to the start button, the d-pad continues working normally, and all the rest of the buttons don't work. This problem only happens when there are two players.
Thank you for your help.
Edit: something else I just realized is probably worth mentioning, this problem only happens ingame. Outside of the game both controllers work perfectly.

@Joface Please detail the steps to reproduce your issue.

@meleu dunno how to reproduce it. I've also reinstalled multiple times and the problem still arises. I'm just connecting both controllers by bluetooth.

@Joface , did you ever find a solution to this? I'd like to know if you did. Thank you
