This it The End: the overlay !

      0_1493052189111_theends Flyer front.jpg

      0_1493052321419_flyer small.jpg

Another game I really liked and played a lot as a teen.
This overlay took me some months to find necessary original artwork as absolutely nothing that could be called decent is available on the net.

Even the official mame bezel from Mr Do's site is... really bad.
      Look (original image, no resize):

      Totally unacceptable to me !

In the End I was finally able to find and contact an owner of the real thing.
A really special THANK YOU goes to Doc from Galloping ghost arcade for taking the pictures of the actual cabinet that allowed me to create the overlay.

@UDb23 i think you are displaying the wrong pic. That first pic isnt an overlay.

@edmaul69 I know! Just wanted to open the thread with the original flyer. Like it.
Overlay and other art being uploaded now in the Repo. Need a few minutes to complete.

It's the overlay that took me most effort and time so far; personally, I'm really proud of the result.

Without considering that's the first and, so far, only available overlay/bezel for this game, for any emulator ;-)

It's made with original marquee and bezel art re-composed (no stretching) and adapted to fit 16:9 format.

Launching and Scrape image also available:

You can find this and other overlays in the rpie-ovl repository.

And if you want an easy way to install them, @meleu created a great dedicated script.
Perform these commands on your RetroPie:

                cd
                git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/meleu/rpie-art
                cd rpie-art
                ./rpie-art.sh

After launching rpie-art.sh script you just have to follow the instructions in the dialog boxes. Once you have the rpi-art.shscript, choose the Update option to get all the latest art in the repository.

Note: overlay tested and working fine with lr-mame2003, lr-mame2010 (cfg sets correct aspect ratio, in case you wonder) and Final Burn Alpha (.39).

@UDb23 I really like when you post the cabinet pics with your new overlays. Some of these I've never seen before.

                      @HurricaneFan Try this game ;-)
It looks simple at first glance... but it's quite tough.
The Stern version, theends, is slightly different and somewhat easier.

btw that's part of the fun with Retropie; we all discover new games thanks to others sharing their fun, their favorite or even issues .
