    Can't power back on!

      Newbie here. Got stuck in a game and just pulled the power cord and I reconnect the power cord and now it won't power back on.

        You probably corrupted your card, do you have a back up?

            Best to shut it down first. If it's locked and frozen in a game or ES, its worth trying to SSH into the PI and sending the shutdown or reboot command via command line. Worse comes to worse, make sure the lights aren't blinking when you pull the wire.

            It's also worth making a backup of your card periodically (or at least once after you've gotten it all setup) in case this sort of thing happens. I have definitely jacked up a few retropie installations in my time experimenting with it. Not only do i keep a backup of my card, but i also keep an organized folder of roms, artwork and gamelists on my computer, which helps in making new installs go quicker.

              Great I figured out how to power it off right but now can't figure out how to power back on.

                I think I have corrupted this card and reloaded it like 8 times!
