Title. Using old school tv (NTSC) with a pi3 and composite video out. The retroarch emulators show up great while gaming, but the menus where I access the games and consoles are off to the side too much cutting off some of the titles. It's not a big problem, just a bit annoying, how do I fix?

Btw, I've checked the resolution settings under, I believe, raspi-config. It's set to default.

@Key_Notes88 I am thinking of two things. . . First, overscan. Is the Pi cropping text, for example, even during boot or when you exit Emulation Station? That would explain cropping everywhere and you might be able to fix by adjusting overscan options in your boot/config.txt.
Second, are you using a specific theme? Some themes are built for 16:9 HDTV displays and the layout is inflexible when used on a 4:3 aspect ratio like your TV. Carbon works OK.

@caver01 I'll check the overscan when I get home but I am using a specific theme, never thought of that, it's the pixel theme the one without the metadata.

@Key_Notes88 pixel is not designed to be used on a 4:3 SD screen.

@caver01 thanks for your suggestions, I did change the theme and it helped a bit, but the main issue was my overscan settings. Uncommenting and increasing the left and right values slightly made a huge difference. Feels much more official now, lol. Thanks again.
