      At present, Having scraped the entirety of the LRMame-2003 romset, I have found that many if not the majority of the games have descriptions from The Games DB that do not provide useful information about the game or could be vastly improved.

      Would anyone be willing to consider altering the scraping feature to look at Wikipedia pages for each game or adding any other source that might bring the quality of these descriptions up to the same level as the descriptions for console games?

        @ward614 thegamesdb is open for anyone to add to. Though the mame scraper pulls from the history.dat or some parsing of it to some extent. The history.dat is probably the most "comprehensive"

          So, if I was interested in adding more information that could be accessed by the scraper, I would want to be editing the history.dat file and then upload it to the gaming history website?

            @ward614 You can create an account on The Games DB and edit any records to add more details about the games.
