Question: Working with Pi3 and Pi Zero
-
When you update from Retropie_setup is anything hardware-specific?
Meaning does it check and install specific software packages/drivers for Pi 3 vs. Pi zero?
I am working on building an image specifically to run on Pi zero, And my image is pi zero based, but I recently updated while using my SD card on a pi 3. Does that matter? Can I continue to build my image using the pi 3 and then just throw the card back into the Zero W? Or would that not work…?

PS: It's funny how much I've figured out how to do on this thing, and yet how little I still know about any of it.

RetroPie-Setup builds source based updates for your current platform (rpi3). Run RetroPie-Setup with "sudo __platform=rip1 ./RetroPie-Setup.sh" for pi zero.

Crap. And also big thanks. I'm going to rebuild and do that.
