bluetooth stops working installing ps3 controller driver
-
Hi there, recently I built a retro gaming console with a pi3 model B and the last version of retropie. I got a clone ps3 controller (recognised as GASIA controller buy retropie).
I use it via USB and works perfect. The problem is that I can´t pair it via bluetooth. I did lots of test, eve updating the distribution but nothing happened.
I tried uninstalling the ps3 drivers and bluetooth started to work again. when I perform a bluetoothctl and scans the devices found the controller and my cell phone either
I install the drivers and the problem starts again. Now I´m using the controller via USB, but can you help me with this issue?
Thanks

I´m still trying to undestand this behaviour... can the problem be because of the power supply? I´m using a 5v 2 amp power supply and yesterday I come across a lightning symbol at the top right of the screen...

@cmdima yes. You need a 5v 2.5a power supply. And not a cell phone charger.

thanks, but problem persist. When I install the ps3 controller driver, the onboard bluetooth of the pi3 stops working and when I remove it works again.
when doing "sudo service bluetooth status" I get the following:
