@Connorsdad First off - terrible and I don't condone this. Not sure we should even share this link on the forum as we don't want to promote or send anyone there. A lot of people view our forum and come looking for help/answers/ideas and we don't want to send them any messages that this is OK or a solution to their problem.

Finding a the bright spot in all of this, I really like the arcade control coffee table they show, that is a pretty cool idea!

I saw this site earlier, its awful. The worst part of it is that these people who buy from it are missing the most fun part. Putting it all together and tweaking it. I've used so many things from this site, in order to build a pi that I'm happy with.

I'd never dream of selling it on. Im in no way clued up on linux programming, I'm not a developer. I'm not a graphic designer... But i got by, using the will to learn and read.

I'll probably never build an arcade unit or anything majorly impressive with my pi, but i won't stop trying to make it better.

As a result, I bet your setup means a whole lot more to you than anyone who clicked the 'Buy it Now' button.

You do artists a disservice by calling these people artists.

Artists (generally) create their own work...

I'd say that's a yes for sure. I love it.. Ive spent a long time on my pi but it's all been worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you are less picky than me you could have it running in no time.

Its a shame to see the hard work put in to retropie development has been exploited, by what seems to be a growing number of people, for a quick buck.

That being said the development is excellent and i can't praise it enough.

I've seen others who're even worse. Pretending that its their product, like they're the ones who programmed everything.

Funnily enough, now i have got my set-up 100% as i like it i have hardly switched it on to play any games, the fun is in the 'creating' of the system and learning how everything works, and the satisfaction when you try something new that you hadn't known about before and it all goes well and works!

People who just buy a premed system are missing out on all the good stuff, and i would imagine the novelty of playing a load of old games soon wears off for them...

                      Raspberry Pi 400 - overclocked to 2.3GHz
                      Theme - Comic book
                      Emulators: All of them...
Roms: Pretty much all of them...
Favourite games: Circus Charlie, Gorf, Gauntlet Legends
                      Controllers: Mayflash F101

Almost same here. Fortunately we have the MAME ROW and the RetroAchievements to keep us gaming. :-)

That's my favorite part as well. Probably why I have so many half-done projects. :)

@herb_fargus Is there nothing we can do against these people?
Not necessarily legally but placing comments (overwhelming them..) about the fact that's illegal and they're stealing others' work ?
I'm (deliberately) one of the few that has no Facebook account so I can't help in this specific case.

@UDb23 Reporting them on Facebook is a waste of time. I used to post on their pages that it's a rip off etc. but their followers won't care at all.

                                @UDb23 not without a trademark .

Best you can do is just teach people that they are being duped to pay for free stuff.
