When I go into ES menu from run button and then to Sound Settings, my usb xbox 360 controller cannot stop on System Volume. It keeps scrolling past it no matter what I do. Currently it's showing 0% but through crazy scrolling and tapping right on the dpad i was able to get it up to 100% before, but now it seems to have lost that setting and is on 0%, although my games have audio ok.
I do not have this scrolling problem anywhere else in Retropie or using this controller on Windows.
If there is no solution, is it possible to change the ES System Volume in a config file somewhere?
      Thank you!

      Edit: Retropie 4.2

I have been having the same issue with the same type of controller. I have used my other controller which worked perfectly. The same thing happens when trying to get to the vram settings. I haven't been able to figure it out yet either.

@alrdtakn1 , yes, it also happens to me in vram settings.
i just installed 4.2 retropie last weekend and did not have this problem for the first couple days.
i think this might have started happening after i ran the update all option for updating everything.
          i hope it gets fixed.

does anyone know the config file for setting the ES system volume in sound settings since I can't seem to do it with a controller or keyboard?
