        @andresh1045 Hi,

        Just to clarify, are you already aware of the Save State feature in the RetroArch core emulators (to save progress)?

        If so, is the question 'how can I exit the emulator and save state all in one action'?

            @andresh1045 as you can see here, you can save a state with select+R1 and load a state with select+L1.
            To exit the combination is select+start.

            Maybe it's a good idea to read this: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration

              @andresh1045 unfortunately, I'm not aware of how this can be done either, I was just trying to clarify if that's what you wanted to be able to do.

                you can save every time you exit - it's a retroarch/libretro function. however there is currently an outstanding issue with it: https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/3049
