I'm looking for some documentation on wiring a pi 3 to the original nes power switch for a Nintendo build. I'm surprisingly having trouble finding documentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Newellj79 On my Super Famicom build, I just soldered its power switch in between a microusb cable. On an nes it shouldn't be any different.

@Darksavior did the led on the nes still work when doing so?

@Newellj79 I used the gamecon's controller driver schematic which also powers the led on my sfc. I'm not sure if it also powers the nes led. If it doesn't, I've seen people add a resistor and power it via gpio. Take a look at some other people's works. I found this one: 0_1499460602754_1473747654108-piwiring.jpg

If you're using a Mausberry, they have a really clear diagram on their setup page.
