      @red2blue you need to exit EmulationStation before updating.

            does this feature come with the latest build on emulation station?? so i can still use the new favorite system?

            Update from source. I think that in a couple of days you can get it updating from binary. But since the PR was merged a few hours ago, I'm not sure if the binary version was updated.

            @meleu told you already

                @red2blue What's the output if you type ps -a
                I'm on 90% of compiling I can upload binary to my github archive! And you can copy it back! Even if this is not the recommended way.

                            @pjft so i deleted kids mode manually and now its under reg emulation station, under the current new version (idk how since it didnt even fully update) but it doesnt have the favorite "X" button under game list?

                            Edit: It also doesnt have Favorite's only when i press select

                                  @red2blue You can use this
                                  https://github.com/crcerror/emulationstation-binary-archive/blob/master/PI2and3/emulationstation2.3.1RP %40pjft %40hex favorites and powersavings v2

                                  This is a merged branch of Powersavings and Favorite
                                  But it's not official!
                                  You can download and must rename it later to emulationstationand copy it to opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation

                                      @red2blue That are precompiled binaries.
                                      You SSH as root and exchange binary old with binary you have downloaded

                                      Rename it to emulationstation and copy it to opt/retropie/supplementary/emulationstation

                                      Make it executable and you can use this. Meanwhile I try to compile the official branch!
