      @ruckage
      A little help if possible...
      1.where do I add the marquees?

      2.I have capcom games also in the neogeo folder however Im only getting the neo geo option system selector option on the theme. How do I see the capcom screen?

      3.Also once i select the neo geo system the images on the next page of the theme to choose a game aren't displaying.

        I got stuff figured out:
        first go to /etc/pam.d and edit login, comment out everything that says print, especially the stuff about MOTD

        then add the stuff below to cmdline.txt

        dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=serial0,115200 console=null root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait quiet loglevel=3 vt.global_cursor_default=0 consoleblank=0 logo.nologo plymouth.enable=0
        then add this to config.txt

        disable_splash=1
        avoid_warnings=1

        also edit /etc/issue to remove "Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 raspberrypi tty1"
        delete the line: Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 \n \l

        this will bring you the closest you can get, there's still:

        raspberrypi login: pi (automatic login)

            @flyingtomahawk i just covered all that and no JUST that ALONE does NO get rid of it all and make it silent, you still need to edit /etc/pam.d login

              @flyingtomahawk all of the suff after the spashscreen before the emulationstation logo is not affected by those settings. I still see it occasionally with all that stuff set in the cmdline.txt

                As you can see in my video there is nothing between the video splashscreen and the ES loading screen. At least not in my current setup.
                I am sure you guys will figure it out though.

                  @flyingtomahawk when you have as much stuff as i have there is inconsistent load times. If you dont have too much stuff you wont generally see it.

                      @flyingtomahawk nope. I love all my roms. :) plus i dont scrape so i dont parse gamelists. So i just wait patiently for it to boot. Plus i boot roms off of hard drive so not sure if that makes a difference in load times.

                        I especially prepared everything for this theme.
                        I have 135 neogeo games, 81 cps games, 24 fba games and maybe max. 50 games for megadrive, snes and nes. The long black screen at the begining of my video is because of the WiFi dhcp thing loading. Deactivating WiFi would load it even faster.

                        I also use the es_system file changer by tmnt which helps me separate the systems and therefore reduce loading times.

                                  @linuxarcadeguy Hey man, for the sake of @ruckage great work and respect for his work and his post, please start a new post with your issues. Share details about your build and exact problems. We all want to help you out, however @ruckage and his thread do not deserve all of your posts with issues and problems. Keep this thread for thing directly related to the awesome theme and art. Please also take some time to search the forum and read up on the docs, the wiki, and use google and youtube. Thanks for understanding.

                                    Oh you meant the game videos inside the system not the splashscreen video at the beginning. Sorry my bad.

                                      @tmntturtlguy i completely understand, also dont like how this forum works, am more familiar with a different forum setup and posting layout, more cleaner, as this is a bit of a chaotic format, but my post was directly attributed to this theme, am not sure where the theme wants the videos, and also cant get the scraped gamelist.xml to work with it...

                                        @linuxarcadeguy I understand, however your questions have nothing to do with the theme. The theme works fine, it is not necessarily made for video, but video will work in it just like any other theme. The gamelist also does not need to be any different than any other theme. Please open a new thread with more information on your setup and your issue and we can help you there.

                                          Hi.

                                          As @TMNTturtlguy said this isn't a theme issue, the theme has no control over that. It's most likely a gamelist issue - either it's pointing to an incorrect directory for the videos or it's possible there could be a duplicate gamelist.xml somewhere which is overriding the one you've created (I'm sure there is a separate gamelist directory, try checking there ).

                                          The theme should work with video (it's actually the only view it supports) though I only use it with screenshots myself. You have to use the default video player though as the OMX player doesn't support the z-index - depending on your video resolution this may cause overheating/slowdown as it isn't hardware accelerated.

                                          If you're still stuck regarding the gamelist and videos not showing then as @TMNTturtlguy said you may get more help if you open a topic in the help section as more people are likely to see it.

                                            Actually I've just had a thought - aren't you trying to use this theme on a 4x3 display? If that's the case then it could be that the videos are being displayed behind everything else so you won't see them. This is simply because the theme is designed for a 16x9 display so you'll just have to wait until I make a 4x3 version. If however you can see the preview screenshots then something else is the cause.
