hey all got one controller working following this video:

Basically went to bluetooth and clicked the back red button to pair couldn't be any easier. But the second controller (both official WUP 005) just wont follow, tired using bluetoothctl in cmdline but unable to type after opening the program, any help would be appreciated really want to play streets of rage with my bro.

kk so i had two post for this no-one helped, its SELF SOLVED. so i had to do a fresh install to the most up-to-date retropie in this case 4.2 and then it worked. Whilst i didnt find out for certain what the issue was, i believe it to be something to do with me also having my ps3/dualshock3 controller connected (apparently they dont play nice with other bluetooth controllers). Anyway after the fresh install the ps3 drivers were not re-installed and everything worked fine. Except for both controllers register as player 1, both in game and on the menu, but when in game the software makes a distinction and it works as if player 1 and player 2. SO 2 bits of advice dont use this forum u will never get a reply and either have all dualshock 3 controllers or none, not sure if this is correct advice, but im sure nobody will validate on this forum. glhf

@tonythetiger giving people more info to be able to help you really helps. There is a link at the top of every page that tells you what info you need to provide. You agreed to this when signing up. You provided no info on your setup so no one would even know how to help you. You can bump a thread but please dont open multiple posts on the same issue. If you had mentioned that you had a ps3 controller people might have been able to tell you to uninstall the ps3 driver, setup both wii u controllers so they are working correctly, then reinstall the ps3 driver. You cant be mad at people for not helping you if you dont provide info.
