Ive been trying to install one of the squid buttons on my Rasberry Pi 3. I was told that PuTTY would be easier then using the Pi's inner command prompts. I've tried entering in my IP address and the RETROPIE directory, but neither have worked! Is there some sort of alternative?

yeah u have 2 alternatives, 1 use the pies internal command prompts, aka a linux terminal or 2, use a linux/ubuntu virtual machine and set up SSH between the two, again using linux terminal.

How do I use the internal command prompts? Like how do I log in so I can enter in all the code? I know that if you press f4 that it brings up the prompts, but how do I log in and shit?
