      @retrofreak89

Decal and Particle engine eating up cpu power.
I have lags like this even on my snapdragon 800 @ 2.2GHz
Lowering the decal count is a good start.

Ok so lowering decal amount also
Is there way i can reduce blood effects so it wont lag as much with lots of enemies?
What about fog and weapon trial effects anyway to disable that?

What resolution do u run brutal on PI3 in curious?
Is brutal doom even worth playing on the pi?
I never played brutal and i want to play all the games and megawads but if pi cant handle not sure then..

My Sony Z1 has a highly optimized build of GZdoom
At times i can even feel lag, jitter and low fps of her.

You wont be able to run all mods.
Brutal doom has a menu to adjust gore.

Try disable lighting and texture filtering too as enemies also generate lights ect..
Also beware of mods with huge texture packs ect..

Is there also a way i can make the character look pixel perfect instead of 'fuzy'

                    https://zdoom.org/wiki/Dynamic_light_options
                    https://zdoom.org/wiki/texture_options

if these don't show up... they are using a near dead build of zdoom

@retrofreak89 just so you know, if your zdoom.ini goes blank, just delete it. It will create a new one if you delete it

Also.. for sharp texture edges.. use nearest filtering.

@xeon thats the thing how do i get to those options if i fire up brutal doom and go to options.
I checked every setting there very carefully there is no textures filter or lighting and other stuff u tell me to turn off so in guessing u have to turn these off in Zdoom it self or something and how would i do that?
Like i said if i go to options of brutal doom non of the settings are there Just the reg stuff

Edit:ok i found out why i cant find it in brutal doom options because it is not supported by Zdoom..
That sux so now i cant disable any of that?
Well since i cant turn these options off because it is not supported by Zdoom what can i do to still disable those? Because i rly like to tweak it to get it to run as best as possible

Edit2:last thing i like to know is how to get custom HUD mods onto my brutal doom??

@retrofreak89 Yeah the build we have is dated.
So tons of great features are not there. :(
