@mitu I'm using Google Chrome at the PC and tried Microsoft Edge as well, but no lucky either.
But after seeing the link you sent, I got it. Such a simple thing that caused me a big headache. But thanks to you, it is fine now. Many thanks, dude.

Nope. Favorites in particular are stored as metadata. There's no way way to export then unfortunately.

Your best workaround is to, unfortunately, create a new collection, and then in your favorite list mash X and down in sequence until they're all added to that new collection. I had to do it at one point for 500 games... Felt like a quick session of Hyper Sports/Track and Field.

Then if you exit ES you should have a file with those games under ~/.emulationstation/collections

Sorry that's not as helpful as it could be.

What's the use case, if I may ask?

    Thanks.

@sara I'm not familiar enough with game engines to know but there are some game engines like love2d (which is based on Lua) essentially you're limited to either game engines retropie supports or engines that convert games to portable code like c++ which can be compiled on most platforms.

Pygame is one that is particularly suited to the pi.
