      Is it plugged directly to the wall?

      The short answer is yes the ac/dc adapters can go bad and output less voltage over time.

      The long answer is that this generally takes a very long time. If you are plugged into a surge protector or power strip that is much more likely to be the culprit imo.

      The power supply im using is working fine i fixed that issue

      The issues i keep running into keep changing
      now for some reason when i try to set up the wifi country in the retropie settings i get an error saying "could not communicate with wpa_supplicant" and then it says "there was an error running option I4 change wifi country" what do i need to do to fix this issue? i believe it is because of this that the ethernet on the raspberrypi isnt being accepted either

      I'll still be using this supply when my B+ gets here. Going to overclock it so the 2.1A won't cut it, but I should be able to use a USB Y cable to parallel the ports and get more than enough current capacity. I'll still have the 1A ports for the display and sound power. Display uses 500mA, so should be good having it on one of the lower ports.
