Original sony ps3 shakes but dont connect

Hi.
I connect the original ps3 dualshock pair, and... nothing... well it just shakes for a while, turn on the lights... and nothing more.
Can someone give me a hand??
Thanks to all (sorry i dont speak english)

by the way if i use
sudo sixad --start
it says "started", but dont say connected......
