      I'm currently using lr name 2003. Are better versions available? If so, Then why?

        @stevefo lr-fbaalpha has newer/better emulation. It's not without its drawbacks. It won't support every game mame does. When a game runs slow, odds are 2003 will run it better. Fba is my go-to emulator followed by fba2012 (again, for speed purposes, like the 4player konami games), then mame2003.

          @stevefo I would say similar to @Darksavior lr-fbalpha (0.2.97.39) followed by lr-mame2003 (0.78) then I would say advmame (0.94) & 0.106 for advmame 1.4 and 3.x
          EDIT: sorry, lr-fbalpha is now 0.2.97.40

            Hello, I'm struggling with arcade emulators and romset ... Is it possible to go only with lr-fbalpha instead of mame ? (Can't find a clean romset including scrapped images for 0.02.97.40, so it's a kind of puzzle game)
